We are honored to have been asked to perform in the new Warner Brothers movie, "The Mule."  How did this happen, you ask?  Well, here's the story...

In the spring of 2018, Mollie received a phone call from a producer at Warner Brothers.  He told her that they were preparing for production for a new movie, and the director of the movie specifically asked them to contact Mollie B and to book her band for a scene in this new movie....

"Oh...  and the director is also starring in the movie...  oh...  and it's Clint Eastwood," he told her.

We were informed that Clint Eastwood is a Mollie B fan, and Clint and his girlfriend regularly watch the Mollie B Polka Party on Saturday nights when they're home.  When planning for this new movie, there was a scene in the movie where he envisioned having Mollie and her band perform.

Mollie and Ted got to work and wrote 5 new songs, sent them off to Hollywood, and got word that Clint had selected the one he wanted to use in the scene that Mollie and Ted had written together.  But that's not all...  They want us to perform "live" in the scene...  and they want dancers from the Mollie B Polka Party - true "Mollie B fans"....  So Mollie got to work, reaching out to folks who have danced on the Mollie B Polka Party that fit within the casting requirements.

In the end, a group of over 50 Mollie B Polka Party dancers joined us in Jonesboro, GA (just south of Atlanta) to film the scene in early June of 2018.  Filming took place for this scene in a single day, with Clint even changing the scene, so he could dance with Mollie!

The film was released on December 14th, and Mollie and Ted were able to attend the premier of the movie in Westwood, CA.

Below are various pictures from the filming and the premier.  Click on the pictures below to view a larger version of them in a new window.  Enjoy!
